Hospital-grade UV Light Sanitizer for Phones & Tablets

About CleanSlate UV

CleanSlate UV was founded in 2014 to tackle the growing challenge of mobile device hygiene in healthcare, food, and biotech facilities. The company has offices in Toronto, ON and Buffalo, NY. The company’s flagship product, the CleanSlate UV sanitiser, enables hospital staff, visitors and patients to rapidly sanitise multiple devices in just 20 seconds. Originally developed as a solution for making healthcare centres safer in North America, the CleanSlate UV sanitiser is now used globally across all industries and environments. In June 2020, Peak Technologies partnered with CleanSlate UV and was awarded the exclusive rights to distribute their UV sanitising products to the UK&I region.

What does the CleanSlate Sanitising Device Do?

CleanSlateUV Device

The CleanSlate UV sanitising device continues to provide Customers and Employees with a quick and easy way of removing harmful pathogens from mobile devices and personal items. With only a 20 second dose of powerful UVC light the CleanSlate UV sanitiser can minimise the spread of pathogens in the workplace, hospitals and even at home.

The device is very intuitive, maintenance free and requires no training to operate, meaning it can be used by anyone in any environment without risk of injury or damage to items cleaned in the device.

How does it work?

The sanitiser would normally be placed in a high foot-fall area to help as many people as possible to benefit from the quick and easy sanitisation.

  1. A user simply raises the lid on the device and places their personal items or mobile devices into the device.
  2. Once the lid is closed, the items move back into the ‘sanitising area’ of the machine automatically.
  3. The user begins to clean their hands with hand sanitiser which is mounted next to the device. We recommend cleaning hands for 20 second, as recommended by the NHS (https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-body/best-way-to-wash-your-hands/).
  4. UVC light is applied to all sides of the items in the CleanSlate UV sanitiser for 20 seconds in the device to kill harmful pathogens.
  5. Once the cleaning cycle is complete and hands are cleaned, the lid will open automatically (to prevent touching an unclean surface) and the user will collect their items and go about their day.

Peak-Ryzex is now
Peak Technologies

The last few months have been incredibly exciting for our organization.  In early April, we changed ownership to Sole Source Capital, an experienced private equity company focused on the industrial services market and committed to our growth. With Sole Source’s support, we have added tremendous capabilities, resources, and industry expertise to the Peak portfolio through the acquisition of three companies in the last 60 days.

Along with these exciting developments comes a renewed sense of commitment and purpose. To celebrate this exciting new chapter, we wanted to use this opportunity to reflect on our past, while looking forward to the future.  We are extremely pleased to announce that we have changed our company name to Peak Technologies Ltd.

For many of our long-time customers, this is a return to the company name that had been in place since our founding in 1981.  When we merged with Ryzex in 2011, we combined our names to symbolize the union of two industry leaders.  But over the last few years, we have become ONE Peak, added additional capabilities, battled through a pandemic together, and feel that the time is now to re-brand the company as we look forward to the future.
