Hands-Free Productivity In The Warehouse With Zebra Fulfillment Edge

Featuring the HD4000, RS5100 & the WT6300

The supply chain doesn’t have time to wait – and neither do customers. With lead times constantly shortening, businesses operating in transport & logistics, warehousing and distribution find themselves looking for new ways to save time and make their fulfilment practices leaner and more efficient.

And in a world where physical touch and social distance have become constantly influential factors, users need to think about how to find those improvements without risking potential outbreaks and the disruption these outcomes bring.

Thanks to the technology innovations of Peak Technologies partner Zebra, those two needs really can be met. With a Fulfillment Edge Solution, you can upgrade your existing WMS without the need to completely replace it, while opening up the ability to integrate new hardware technologies such as the HD4000 Heads-Up Display, the RS5100 Ring Scanner and the WT6300 Wearable Computer.

Hands-Free Scanning Protects Hygiene Standards

Warehouses need to maintain demand, but staff and customers still need to know their environment is COVID-19 ready. Hands-free technology enables users to scan information with the minimum of physical touch, thus reducing the risk of contamination.

Automating Productivity In The Warehouse with Fulfillment Edge

Your warehouse operations are built around your WMS, but completely replacing it with a new system can be expensive and cause considerable downtime for your business. But with a Zebra Fulfillment Edge Solution from Peak Technologies, you can upgrade your existing WMS and finally open up your system to integrating new technologies and hardware options. Other powerful benefits include:

Rugged Yet Comfortable Designs

The days of uncomfortable wearables are a distant memory, with the HD4000 and the RS5100 offering lightweight designs that are comfortable to wear, even for long periods across a full shift. Plus, they’re rugged enough to withstand the demands of a modern warehouse.

Decrease Errors & Increase Productivity

The RS5100 is built to reduce fatigue and discomfort, especially when compared to the legacy RS507x ring scanner (it’s around half the size and weight of that earlier model) so users can wear it for long periods without risk of injury. It’s also lightweight enough to worn on a lanyard.

Best-of-Breed Scanning

Users can scan barcodes with speed, accuracy and dexterity, thanks to the dual scan engine options included with the RS5100 Ring Scanner. Whether workers need to scan via LED or laser, these imager engines will capture data at pace, even when with a poorly printed 1D/2D barcode.

Superior Comfort for the Warehouse

The RS5100 is built to reduce fatigue and discomfort, especially when compared to the legacy RS507x ring scanner (it’s around half the size and weight of that earlier model) so users can wear it for long periods without risk of injury. It’s also lightweight enough to worn on a lanyard.

Zebra HD4000 Enterprise

Head-Mounted Display

It’s time to improve productivity and enhance task accuracy with the automation innovation of the HD400 Head-Mounted Display. Users can view information in real-time with a full field of view. As comfortable as a normal pair of protective glasses, this accessory will change how warehouse workers interact with their environment, while freeing up their hands to handle packages.

Zebra RS5100 Bluetooth Ring Scanner

Zebra Technologies decades-long expertise in the field of data capture ensures its range of barcode scanners at the forefront of innovation. The RS5100 Bluetooth Ring Scanner is comfortable, light and rugged enough to withstand the rigors of a modern warehouse environment. At half the size of the legacy RS507x model, the RS5100 represents a true evolution in Zebra’s ring scanner range.

Peak-Ryzex is now
Peak Technologies

The last few months have been incredibly exciting for our organization.  In early April, we changed ownership to Sole Source Capital, an experienced private equity company focused on the industrial services market and committed to our growth. With Sole Source’s support, we have added tremendous capabilities, resources, and industry expertise to the Peak portfolio through the acquisition of three companies in the last 60 days.

Along with these exciting developments comes a renewed sense of commitment and purpose. To celebrate this exciting new chapter, we wanted to use this opportunity to reflect on our past, while looking forward to the future.  We are extremely pleased to announce that we have changed our company name to Peak Technologies Ltd.

For many of our long-time customers, this is a return to the company name that had been in place since our founding in 1981.  When we merged with Ryzex in 2011, we combined our names to symbolize the union of two industry leaders.  But over the last few years, we have become ONE Peak, added additional capabilities, battled through a pandemic together, and feel that the time is now to re-brand the company as we look forward to the future.
